Queen City Family Restaurant located in the heart of Berks county PA offers something for everyone. Our warm, friendly atmosphere is perfect for a family meal or coffee with a friend. We welcome business meetings, families celebrations and non profit events. We are open 24 – 7 and we are an old-fashioned favorite with a modern twist. We offer charging stations and electric for your convenience, banquet space, and quick service with a smile.
Queen City continues to be involved in our local community. Every November, with the generous support of our community, we are proud to host People First. Queen City owner Elsayed “Steve” Elmarzouky founded the People First event in 2009. We are honored to continue this tradition and to serve Berks county. We are proud to host this event and be able to lend a helping hand to those that are less fortunate!

Queen City Family Restaurant of Reading, PA was built by Mr Walter Moore in the mid 1950’s. He named it Moore’s. His diner was known for its strawberry pie. In fact the original weather vain is still on top of Queen city today.
In the early 80’s Philip Row took over what they then called Dempsies.
In 1990 the current owner Elsayed Elmarzouky purchased what he then called Queen City. He named the diner Queen city because he used to work at a diner called Queen City in New York where he met his wife.
Queen City Family Restaurant of Lancaster Avenue, Reading PA has always been known for being open 24 hours as well as serving breakfast 24 hours as well. Stop in, anytime, something is always cooking at Queen City.
